It is amazing, seriously. The single player AI is fucking awesome and online it brilliant, none of this ill shoot ya a billian times and ya dont die crap.

you shoot some 1 with sniper they die.... AWESOME

Have it, but playing Crysis when I find the time to play anything, played the first few levels and it's awesome tbh, haven't tried the MP yet though.

I doubt he cheats and it is probably a false positive, but as you know, in ET you can never be sure. I think his name will be cleared tbh.

COD4 has lots of good points but I don't think AI is one of them.
TBH I don't see many signs of an advanced AI at all. The enemies just spawn and move along predefined paths and shoot at you when they see you. IMO Doom 1 had better AI than this.

I got it for Chrimbo and love it. AI seems a good bit better than CoD2 but not mind boggling. have been flanked a few times which was nice. As usual the set prices and level design are great so i cant complain, im a big fan

Set pieces ruin any game as it makes them predictable. Level design as usual is one big long corridor, fuck that, I like to choose my route not go the way the level designer says i should.

Afaik, the enemies move along predefined routes...at times it'll look like they are 'hunting you down' but that's just clever level design and coincidence. Thats the reason for all the 'fish in barrel' situations you'll see as you play trough this game...you can stay in one spot and slaughter the ai controlled players since they are incapable of coming up with a counter attack in many situations.

I'm not saying that COD4 is bad...it's a good single player game but playing trough the same level more than once will certainly reveal some weaknesses related to enemy (and friendly) AI and the 'on rails' gameplay (-> there is only on way to play trough each level).

As for the multiplayer, it seems competent enough but it's slow and the game modes are fairly simplistic and fail to excite me after the objective style gameplay of ET and ETQW.
